I agree with the others about Warm Wishes. Trying to make a quilt start to finish in 3 weeks while undergoing chemo (or even when not undergoing chemo) is a huge task. Keep it simple.

If you really, really want to put a truck on it, I'd go with a whole cloth background & the simplest public domain image of a truck you can find ... and then machine applique the thing on. That's what I'd do since I have a harder time trying to cut out a gagillion little pieces & seam them together properly. Here's what I came up with. I would pick one thread color for the quilting and just do an all-over FMQ design to finish as quickly as possible

Here's the link to the truck image I used as the base. I simplified it to just have the red truck outline with layered grey & black pieces on top for windows, wheels & wheel covers (is that what they're called?). Honestly, I'm kinda in love with it & am now thinking that I want to make this quilt.
