Hi, I am Shirley from Denver, CO.
I have dabbled with quilting off and on for years. I have never made a large quilt just mostly wall hanging sizes. They have mainly been of my own patterns. Recently I have gotten the desire to get busy using the patterns and fabric that I have purchased in Hawaii. I collect turtle and have several patterns including them. My husband likes model railroading and I have been collecting fabric for Trains in the Attic. (I can make more than one quilt with each of the train and turtle stashes. lol)
I love combining needlework with quilting. I really don't have any desire to do the intricate piecing but an in awe of those that do.
I did make a denim throw for my oldest son and want to make each of my other 3 children and 1 and 1/2 grandchildren quilts.
