2 questions- what color do you want this quilt to be and what size do you want it to be. color and size will help determine how many borders and what color. IMHO I would but a dark brown 1' inner border and then a tan border if I waned a brown quilt. audition several choices and then decide. The quilt will "tell " you what it needs.
