Help please with border size and fabric choice.

So many wonderful suggestions -- you really can't go wrong with any of them. But I've got yet another!
I'd make a narrow pieced inner border with long strips of the brightly colored fabrics (varying sizes, but probably at least 8" each), followed by a larger solid outer border in either tan or dark brown (maybe with pieced patchwork cornerstones if I thought it needed a tie in). But I like bright artsy elements in my quilts -- I find them uplifting and cheery.

Another take! It would look nice if you used an inner border made up of segments of all of the colors (randomly placed) perhaps 1.5 inches wide. Then a wider border of one of the background colors-I would probably choose the darker one. Finish it with a multicolored binding. I really like your pattern and would want the border to accent the colors of your pattern rather than compete with it. Please show us your choice-you have so many nice ideas from which to choose.
