That sounds like the fabric demon that got in my head when I went to buy binding fabric last fall. I needed a total of a half yard and couldn't decide between two different fabrics so I decided to get enough of each to make a scrappy binding. But somehow when I told the lady with the scissors how much of each I wanted the words that came out of my mouth were "2 and a half yards of each"
. I didn't even realize until I got home and took it out.......
