Thanks. yeah...the ladder idea is so cute, but I just don't have any place to put one. My house is very small. It's like living on a boat. I'm considering something very narrow at the end of the bed. A blanket rack is an idea, but they don't hold that many quilts. I have about 7, or 8 of them and more on the way. I'm also thinking of building a floor to ceiling, corner shelf unit. I've also seen quilts rolled up and stored on end in an open bin, but I would worry about the damage that might cause to the quilts.
