If you can find an old crib side, you could hang it length-wise on a wall or a door, and put a few quilts between the rails so that you see a bit of each of the quilts on it. I have even thought of hanging the crib side from the ceiling, but that requires high ceilings.
Paint the crib side in whatever color works well in your home.
