Most of my family don't like lap quilts, they like to be covered from head to toe. I keep a few twin sized around for a quick gift or donation. I also make doll quilts for the local Salvation Army. They are about 24" square. This is a good thing to do with orphan blocks or to try out a new block for a quilt. You can also make Quilts of Valor to donate to that. I make baby quilts to donate to the local pregnancy center.
