Default What size of quilt top do you make most oftern to have on hand?

I sew to relieve stress and find myself starting a new top as soon as current project is finished. Have several baby quilts ready for the next baby in our life to give away but getting tired of that size.

So what size top do you sew to keep on hand for fast giver-away? If lap, just wondering what size.

In case you're wondering next quilt w/b QoV for brother.

I like twin size, I find lap quilts are too short for most people I give to, they seem to like when they are a little longer to cover from head to toe.

I mostly do lap quilts to give away. The other size I make is full/queen. That seems to be the size my kids always want.

I make doll quilts for Operation Christmas Child. They're approx FQ size depending on my mood. It's a fun way to try new things without a big time commitment, plus it's really portable for taking wherever I'll be waiting.

I don't make quilts to have on hand. I do mostly charity quilts so I mostly do lap size for foster kids.

I don't know if my quilts qualify for lap quilts. They are mostly 40-45 x 48-50. I make them for the Head Start program for four year old children. Also I can't manage much larger than twin size on my machine.

I make 48-54 wide and at least 72 long. I like to tuck my feet under.

For some reason, I usually wind up with square quilt throw. Around 55 to 65 inches.

At least a Queen for gifting and twin for charity quilts unless the guild specifically wants baby size.

Right now I am doing wall hangings / lap quilts -- many projects and patterns end up at 50 inches square. Sometimes I add squares and borders to make a larger one.

When I make a WH size I will put it away until I know what I want to do with it. That way I have the pleasure of making new ideas without having to finish. If I don't want to keep it, I give it to my quilt group and someone else snaps it up -- or it goes into a charity quilt.

I always have a baby quilt on hand finished for whoever(??) a new neighbor in the condo complex or a child of a friend.
