We just bought a slightly larger camper--but still small--and I'm decorating with a quilt I already owned--a colorful pattern my bee made for a guild auction. (I purchased it!) I made curtains out of some pretty bird fabric. The camper came with an ugly black and brown bedspread (really sleezy fabric) and curtains--really just toppers over blinds. We couldn't wait to toss ttose in the garbage. I'm framing some of my bird photos and related art to make it home-y! By the way, I've met some of the nicest quilters camping.
What is it with trailers/motor homes that cost tens (or hundreds) of thousands of dollars and those nasty bedspreads? Our bedroom is pretty dark which is the reason we went wild with color balanced by the nice neutrals. I like the blinds we have, but the headers may get recovered. We are now talking about what color scheme to add in the other part of the trailer. I am very tired of brown and black.
