How about making pillowcases to match the quilt? They could have a skinny band of the inner border fabric that you have almost a quarter yard of, and match any of the other fabrics you could find!

We opened up the trailer today, so here is the new quilt on the bed. It also shows the red pillowcases I bought to go with it. I got lucky with my planning on having the top fit the mattress and having the red border be right at the end - easier to position it. It is hard to plan on size when taking the shrinkage from quilting and washing of fabric and batting.

I'm loving the quilt made for your RV, here I was just thinking about making a towel backed shower Matt for when we stepped of shower & having trouble getting motivated just for that..I'd rather be planning on a beautiful quilt for our bedroom, I'm thinking about a Jelly Roll Race quilt for our bed & using leftover for the bath Matt😁. Then I want to try my hand at applique (for the very 1st time)to making one of those wall hangings of the really old travel trailers to hang on the wall of the kitchen area. Any ideas for an easy tutorial for the old appliques of old RV's would be so much appreciated. Thanks all for listening to this Newbies ideas and dreams.

Wow! You really did a nice job. I love the FMQ, and the colors "play well together". It looks happy on the bed
