There are many, many plans out there. If you can find one, there are people whose job it is to find you the best bet for your dollars. The hubby used one of these guys in Phoenix, he took all his info, conditions, medications, life style, travel (some state plans only pay within that state, there are even county only plans) typed in in and several policies popped out, we were able to go thru the different plans to see which fit the best, without having to look thru hundreds!! We ended up keeping our work-related plan, it still covered him. No cost for all the info we were given.
