I was in the 7th grade when I made mine out of a satin cotton. White with red cherries and red rick-rack across the three sectional pockets. I loved that apron. It was the second thing I ever sewed, the first was a square gym bag ,draw string and our name embroidered on the bottom corner, to put our gym clothes in....... 1962....
