"And when he gets to heaven, Saint Peter he will tell, "Another Marine reporting, Sir. I served my time so well."

And to all those Marines who stood shoulder to shoulder with these men, and left parts of their hearts and souls in Iraq, may you find peace.

Semper Fi, my brothers. I salute you all.

I believe the quote is "When I get to Heaven, to St. Peter I will tell - 'Another Marine reporting, Sir. who spent his time in Hell.'" I remember that from the 50's in a book - "Battle Cry".

Tomorrow, I will will celebrate Memorial Day - the 30th of May. I will fly my flag half staff 'til noon for the soldiers that died and then drop it and raise it to full staff for the rest of the day for the living soldiers. Tomorrow morning I will go to Fort Snelling National Cemetery and visit my husband. God Bless America. Edie
