I have been so good for several months then started a quilt using everything I could find in my stash that was the muted patriotic fabrics Its king size so I figured out I could use up a lot of the left overs however after I got 25 blocks together and I realized wow that's a lot of very loud prints. There was no where for your eyes to rest lol
So dug some more and came up with a few solids and low value but still loud so today I did a rather graceless swan dive off the wagon at the quilt show to add some red and blender type solids I had nothing that wasn't bright then found some dollar fat quarters and then a few other things joined me. Then a few more Awh well I will have used up about 7 yards of stash in this one and I supported the local quilt stores we have now lost four this year in western Washington as I heard of another one going out today
