I really want a Featherweight! A local guy on CL has one, no case or accessories, for $250, but just serviced. Not sure I need accessories but think a case is appealing.
I'd also been checking CL in the Lexington, KY, area prior to a trip with my grown daughter. Found one with case for $300 there and he said he could meet me somewhere convenient.)
I was driving down to KY but flying back. I was leery about trying to bring the FW back as carry on. If you don't know what it is, the little black case certainly might look like a bomb. Heck, it's no clock, but you just never know when a "sewing machine" might alert the authorities.(

I had to talk myself out of it. Looking back, I'm glad I did. I ended up having only 6 minutes to change planes in Charlotte (a long fast walk from Gate E to B). Had I been stopped, I might've missed that flight. So....I'm being patient for another deal around here. They're listing on CL (Balto, DC and souther PA for 250-595.). My limit is 300.
