Baked them this afternoon. Used regular flour along with a bit of salt and a teaspoon and a half of baking powder to make it same as self rising. I didn't need to bake mine as long as stated. I used 300 degrees but only baked fifteen minutes or so. I added chopped walnut and a few chopped peanuts. Yummy!

My husband loves nuts in his cookies but I made it close to the recipe. Wasn' t sure if nuts might make the cookies too crumbly??
