These are so good! Just came out of the oven and my grandson is here for the summer and we are both voting that these are the best! The golden syrup came yesterday, I took a spoon of it and it is addicting! There are no eggs in these cookies so you could eat the dough if you wanted. This is a keeper! I will cut the sugar down to half cup next time.
I might try cutting the sugar back a little the next time I make them. He likes them thin so I do smash the cookie batter down a little more before baking.
