My Mother always wore an apron, and would change into a clean one about the time my Dad got home from work. I never wore one until I got older. I guess I'm more prone to getting drips and stains on the front of me now than I was when I was younger. I have some full ones (not bib) that my Mother made me in 1985 that I still wear and cherish.
