With the hand labor involved, I'm just happy they don't cost way more. I'm thinking the workers aren't paid as well as in the US. If it was made here we couldn't afford a square inch. Batiks are my go-to fabrics and I have to tear myself away from them in stores. I pet them there and those I have at home and hate to use them because when they're gone they're gone and can never be reproduced exactly. Besides you can use either side!!!
