After 50 years living in the same house, I finally got what I wanted. When my DH passed away I could re-arrange my rooms to suit ME. I turned my Florida room (15 x 24) into my sewing room. It has a 9' window on the north for lots of light but no sun. I bought plastic cabinets (7' high) with doors (no light fading) to store my fabric with enuf room on the top to store my batting roles. I have a full size cutting table with room to walk around all sides. My machines (yes, I have 4) are L shaped and I have a rolling chair I have to fight with my cat to use. There are two four foot ceiling light left over from the pool table days and I have Ott lites as well. My favorite? A rack my DH made to hold all my rulers and templates. I thank him every time I use it. What's heaven like? I'm in it.
