I went to a BOM last year and every block had a lot of small pieces. I was so tired of that quilt and thought I would never finish. I do like controlled scrappy. A tumbler quilt is a good easy one to do scrappy, combine a solid and a print for every other tumbler. I use the same color solid throughout.
