PaperPrincess: I'm glad you got a souvenir from your vacation.
I fell off! I went to an estate sale and I got there with an hour or so to spare. I didn't realize everything was going to be 1/2 off on most items. This was the same group of people hosting the sale where I went several weeks ago to the fabric sale and was happy to get fabric at that time for $2 a yard. So today, I picked up a few other things at the sale along with more fabric!
. I got approximately 92 yards for $92 of nice cotton fabric. I also picked up some sheets for my church quilting group.
One of the adults running the sale asked me if I wanted to sort through the knits and box up the ones I wanted as she was donating them to the baby charity where I volunteer. I know this gal and told her about the charity at the first sale so she said she would give me the knits after this sale. I ended up with approximately 68 yards of knit fabric and 12 yards of sweatshirt fabric for the charity.
A win-win for both of us.

P.S. My personal stash probably tripled this summer! It was pretty small so it is fun to have fabric for my own projects even though I will probably end up using them in charity quilts. (I have lots of smaller strips and smaller cuts of fabric from both of my charity groups but that is designated for them. That's why my personal stash is special. )
