Was just having this conversation with some friends last night. They purchased a top loading maytag with agitator. It is digital, however. Does make noise but their machines are in the basement so doesn't create too much of an issue for them. Another one of the group is in the middle of buying a new electric stove. They don't want glass/ceramic top. I'm going to have to buy a new car soon for the first time in 18 years. Can you imagine the culture shock I'll have with THAT particular adventure?!?!
