I love that Gram! I was at work yesterday and a daughter of one of our residents came in carrying a box of fabric. She said she didnt quilt anymore and was going to throw this out in the trash...unless I wanted it! I was so excited. Its wonderful older cotten fabric and there was yards of it in the box. We talked about quilting and she said she had another box that she was going to throw away because it was "small pieces"... Again I said Id take it and today she brought this second box into me! I dont consider it "smaller" pieces..some had a yard of two of the color! Another daughter of a different resident came in and said she knew her mom had A LOT of fabric that will never get used and asked if I wanted it too....oh my...I was in heaven!!!
