I've been to both. They're different but both are great. I must say I got some deals and "steals" at Marshalls. I spent three hours there and filled the back of the SUV. Since I do charity quilting, their prices met my needs and the quality is very nice, IMHO. I am still using up a few of the pieces I bought there. They are mixing in with much higher priced LQS stuff from my stash and the "hand" of the fabrics shows no difference in quality. In their bargain bin, I bought 8 yards of a "killer" lime green for $1 a yard that had a little streak along the selvage that didn't take the dye. I hated to see that get used up. Have fun!
