I think it depends on the individual dealer. My HQ dealer is fabulous. I've been shown how to do everything myself if I want to. If not, she's just a phone call away and will come over if I need her. I can't say enough good things about her or my Avante. I bought mine used, with a new frame, and she even made sure I was given the full warranty on my machine as if I had bought it new.
