I also started graying in my 20s and have always colored it,a med auburn.this past year when I turned 51,I said" I am so tired of coloring my hair every 6 weeks" so I quit.Now it is a reall pretty (i think) salt and pepper,I know I have gotten a few compliments on it.and I like not having to mess with it,My sister tried not coloring hers,had a good 6 inches of growth and couldn't take it anymore and had it done
