Backing for binding...
A few weeks ago I asked if any had finished that way, and the positive comments prompted me to do it with 6 holiday tablerunners that I had pieced last year, then "stashed away". These were all scrappy braid-type with square in the middle and I found a good amount of holiday yardage in my stash that would work...so I loaded them onto the L/A, quick quilted, cut apart leaving that 1" turnover, grabbed glue stick and to the sewing machine I went. What a great way to finish these off! Half were mailed yesterday, others will be stocking stuffers, and I learned something "new". Thanks buddies!
