Exactly Jean, I also find that it can be easy to stay in your 'comfort zone' avoiding certain techniques or types of block. This is a great way to try other blocks you maybe wouldn't consider. We can add blocks, subtract, alter as these belong to us and we can do whatever we please! There are no 'quilt police' here!! Hahaha...
The other great thing is we are making these together! Help and tips are always at hand
