Isn't it funny how depending on the material the block looks so different. I say this all the time and yet each time I am still amazed. I looked at your block and went into instant panic mode thinking I didn't make that block. Really nice selection of fabrics.

Thanks AnngelAnne, actually I had a different fabric where the orange is now and it looked horrible! lol In fact I grabbed the orange not thinking about using it in my block last month! So I put it away so I wouldn't grab it again.

Hugs,
Betty

I joined the quilting bee in June and so far I have made 3 blocks that are 10 1/2" finished. Any ideas on how I can enlarge this pattern to 10 1/2"?

Hi Fabric...are you referring to the July blocks, which are posted in a new July thread? While the directions say they are for 10" blocks, that means they are 10 1/2" before they are sewn into a quilt using 1/4" seams (when sewn with 1/4" seams the completed, sewn-in block will be 10"). Hope that helps.

I made my block for January yesterday and I printed the block instructions for February. Hopefully I will get caught up if I do 1 block a week.

I finally felt strong enough to make my Auntie's Puzzle block yesterday. My computer crashed last week. I got it back yesterday and now I have to download all of my software again. It is very frustrating. I will try to post my photos this weekend.
