i use Bar Keeper's friend and the flat green scrubbers you find with the dish soap. I went to the auto parts store and bought a cheap window squeegie that stays in the shower. When I turn the water off I squeegie off the walls and tub. I have to clean the shower maybe once a month now. I use Method All Purpose Cleaner, Grapefruit smell. I spray it on before I take a shower and then squeegie before I get out. We have a terrible problem with pink slime in our water and the squeegie takes care of that problem too.
Here's an article I found when I was looking for this answer. They divided the shower door into four parts and used it as a science experiment!
