I have made several. Obviously the easiest ones are just squares. I have added fun cotton fabric for alternate squares and it works just fine. My favorites are the Log Cabin. I usually make those strips 2 1/2 to 3 inches wide and they go together really fast. I have never used the seams, but I do like to incorporate the pockets for a fun touch. When people found out I made them, they started leaving boxes of old jeans in my garage! I wouldn't even know who left them until someone would ask if I found them (sometimes more than a month later). So I have a lot of work ahead of me!
