Is the needle stuck in fabric and down low position? Can you get the bobbin and bobbin case out? I've had that happen once
(or maybe more, LOL). It takes some firm but gentle rocking the tightened hand wheel to get the needle out of the fabric. I may have even released the needle clamp screw.
