I've been fairly lucky that my featherweights haven't been really stinky. Actually, I kind of like the smell of old machines themselves. I had read many years ago (

only Safeguard bar soap in the case. I did get some and opened one end of the package and stuck in the case. I'm not crazy about the Safeguard soap scent.
