I received a prompt reply from Quilter's Dream. The batch in question was manufactured last summer in June and July. The vendor I used has had new shipments since then of the size in question (king size on the roll). They offered to send a new batt even though it was not the size and batch in question. Since I ordered a queen batt from this vendor, I am going to proceed and use the one I ordered. I don't want to hand quilt this bed quilt every 2 inches, which the Hobbs would require. I don't want to disparage the reputation of a good company who it appears has gone to great lengths to remedy the situation.
