Thanks for the ideas. Archival boxes was the product I was trying to think of. The reason I took the quilt to repair was because it belonged to son-in-laws great grandma. I meet her years ago and really enjoyed her. She was as feisty as they come. I couldn't bear to just have them toss the quilt like it was nothing. Fortunately my daughter felt the same and rescued it after asking me to help her. I'm not giving it back to the family, but to her and her husband who will pass it on to their daughter, who at 14 is learning to quilt and really appreciates the sentimental value, even if it's just an ordinary quilt.
