Never made sense to me then, still doesn't make sense to me to this day.
Actually I use to say that to my 3 kids when they were winy and complaining. If they pushed it enough and got a spanking, they minded after that. Please understand we did sit down and talk about it as I did not want to be mean to my 3 beauties.
Now as a Grandma, I want to say it to my grand kids sometime. Usually I just the parent a look.
