I took my grandmother Nancy to her hairdresser when she could no longer drive. I was shocked that she only tipped her hairdresser $0.50. Fifty cents! This was in 1995. Her hairdresser said it was okay because for years it used to be only a quarter. I made up the difference in what the tip should have been. Never could get grandma to tip more.
