We've never had a problem with wild critters. We did have a cat come thru one once. Which for a house with 3 dogs with high prey drive is NOT a good thing.
But he was a very calm cat. I saw him coming down the long upstairs hall and just got up and shut the door behind my husband who picked him up and took him outside. Dogs didn't even realize what was going on.
