Minnesota city folk here too!! Breakfast, lunch, and supper. Dinner was what we called the Sunday lunch, because that was always a "fancier" meal. Applied also to Easter Dinner, Thanksgiving Dinner, and Christmas Dinner. When I married a "St. Paulite", I "learned" that dinner and supper were supposed to be interchangeable!!
