Instead of attaching the bottom edge of the quilt top to the leader on the roller that holds the quilt top, I let it drape over the front of the table. Attach the backing as usual. My frame has a "belly bar" on it which all frames don't use. I let the quilt top drape over the belly bar and put the magnetic bar (or 2 depending on how large the quilt top is) on the quilt top to secure it to the belly bar and keep it smooth. Recently saw a Youtube video where the woman had attached little round drawer handles to the magnetic tool bar to help with removing it from the quilt frame. There are holes on the tool bar for attaching it to the wall and she just used nuts and screws to thread through the holes into the handles. I'm going to try that since the tool bar magnet is so strong that it's sometimes hard to remove. I kept mine in the original plastic package until it fell apart because it gave me something to hold onto to get it off the quilt!
