So I bought an edging foot and adjusted the needle. No more jurking to the side.
i CAN make a scant quarter-inch with this foot. my needle position adjusts in teeeeeeeny tiny increments. two clicks to the right for me and i'm scant. :-)

it's a universal snap-on. it'll fit just about any machine ... unless the machine has one with a super-narrow snap-grabber-thingie.
