Well, I went to a sale yesterday. It was a fabric "closeout" store that I had not visited lately. They have home decor fabric and yucky knits and some quilting fabric. Unfortunately, they had been closing out the cottons. I talked to the owner about the problems quilt stores are having staying in business. He told me he sold 1,000 yards of cotton to a lady who makes children's clothes.

No matter how many yards I buy, it won't come close to that. I'm just a piker.

Can you imagine? 1,000 yards?
