My two quilting friends and I go to Marshall's and buy 15 yard bolts to share 5 yards. We buy about 5 - 6 bolts each. That is a lot to many. We each buy a bolt of wide backing too to share with each other. That usually tides us over for about six months. Our monthly trip to Marshall's is just for the fun of it and we may buy a few yards of fabric then.
