Yes, I have paid someone to bind my quilts. Make sure their stitching is good enough for you. I had a quilt with scalloped borders I planned to enter in a quilt show. I paid a quilter that offers this service to bind it for me. I did not like it and the person redid it. Not good enough. I removed all her stitches and did it myself. :-). Nice job! Haha

I don’t like to do the binding because I have carpal tunnel and my fingers go numb after a few stitches. Makes the binding process a real struggle for me.

Now I have a lady that I trade binding for quilting. She does a pretty good job, but if I am planning to enter the quilt in a quilt show, I do it myself. That way, there is no one to blame if I dont get good comments on the binding. :-). :-)
