This question will received many different comments. I made pillows for a charitable craft sale very recently. I always cut my back and front one inch smaller than the stated pillow form so they will be fully filled when the pillow is inserted. With some styles of pillow and some brands I have even had to stuff fiber fill in the corners to make them fully full. I also like to use a layer of batting with the fabric and I quilt it grid style or with a design. I usually finish the edge with cording.
