Pat, I really like the way your's looks and with the constant border print....or is that just a coincidence? I've wished that I would have stuck to just 2-4 prints rather than 10 or more. I still struggle with being totally scrappy vs. controlled. It is wonderful to see everyone's work and variances. Kass, your design is amazing and if I ever get going on this again may want to copy you if that is ok.
Nope, I chose two colors in each group. The only other place that I had used that aqua was in the first step 4 patch. So to have it as the border seemed appropriate. I tried in the last BH Mystery quilt to use 4 neutrals, I decided then, next time only two! I love the scrappy but I just can’t get my brain around it. And I just don’t have a stash of neutrals, I don’t use light colored fabric so I have to buy every time.
