I think one of the important things to consider is the stitching position when making sharp points (to insure that you do not cut off the point. Align the work feeding into the machine so you can see the previous stitching. Then sew just a tiny bit above the apex of that stitching and you will have a perfect point. Also, be careful when you press so you don't stretch the bias.
