Ibex, I saved a little piece of that Mardi Gras fabric, a fleur-de-lis, and it’s in what is for me a giant quilt. (It’s my avatar today.) The quilt is as yet unfinished but that little piece is one of my favorite’s so it’s going in. It’s filled with hundreds of squares from various swaps and scraps, the but final pieced row will only have 2 1/2 inch squares that have particular meaning to me. Lots of my favorite Boom fabrics are in that row, along with pieces of my sons’ dinosaur quilts, a square from my first sewing project, something from my MIL, and some from a good friend. I hope to finish the top right after I work my Boom blocks.
